5 Things I've Learned In My First 24 Weeks

I have learned so much in the first 24 weeks of my pregnancy. I thought I would give a list of the Top 5 things I've learned so far.

~*~MY TOP 5~*~

1. Morning Sickness Waits for NO ONE!!!
    * I was very lucky to only have morning sickness for about a day and half ( I also had a double ear infection which made it worse) but I had a little nausea for a couple of weeks. When I did have morning sickness it would come out of no where. I did find that eating something when I felt nauseous eased that feeling off for a little while.

2. TakeYour Prenatal Vitamin At Night
     * I started taking my Prenatal Vitamins when I got up in the morning. I found that my nausea was worse when I did that. I read somewhere (webMD) online that if you feel like your vitamin is making you nausea worse then try taking them at night.I started doing that and it worked for me.

3. House Work Is Still There?!?!?
*I feel like as soon as I finish cleaning my house it's dirty again....I have found that I can't spend all day cleaning like I did before I got pregnant. By the end of the day my back is hurting and I can't move. My suggestion ( this works for me) is take one room a day. It won't take such a huge toll on your body.

4. Indigestion Will Come With Vengeance!
    * No matter what I eat or don't eat I have had HORRIBLE Indigestion/Acid Reflux. It got to the point where I couldn't eat ( I actually lost weight the first couple of months). Finally over Thanksgiving I couldn't deal with it anymore. I made the hubs stop at CVS. I ran in and grabbed some Zantac 150mgs. It was almost instant relief. Now I take one in the morning and one at night if needed. (Zantac is on the list my Dr gave me of medication that is ok to take while pregnant)

5. You Might As Well Move Into The Bathroom!
    * I have found myself having to go. I go then 5 mins later I'm back in the bathroom having to go again. I feel like I spend most of my day in there!

I have learned many other things in these 24 weeks....this is just a few of them :)
