French Toast

One thing I really enjoy on the weekends is when the hubs and I make breakfast. It has become a tradition. A few weeks ago being the preggo that I am.... I woke up craving french toast..... YUM!! And it was really good :) 
Ingredients

*2 eggs

* 1/2 cup milk or Half-and- Half

*1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
 
*Cinnamon or nutmeg
 
*4 thick slices of bread

*1 tbsp butter

Cooking Instructions

*Beat together the eggs and milk

*Whisk in the vanilla and seasoning (cinnamon or nutmeg)

*Melt the butter in a skillet or griddle over medium heat

*Dip the bread slices in batter

*Fry the bread in the butter until browned on each side

*Serve with syrup or powdered sugar
